The Franz Sahler company was founded in Trier in 1902.
Franz Sahler successfully passed his master's examination in 1986. After a further two-year apprenticeship at the European Academy of Handicrafts in Raesfeld Castle, he received the additional qualification as a restorer in plastering in 1989.
Due to his constant further training as well as his professional competence in the areas of plaster, stucco and restoration, he was appointed by the Trier Chamber of Crafts in December 1999 as a publicly appointed and sworn expert for the plastering trade.
The 4th generation is already in the starting blocks.
The son Sven Sahler has been supporting the family business since 2005 after successfully completing his 3-year training as a plasterer.
In 2007 he successfully passed the exam for building energy consultant at HWK-Trier.
In 2019 he successfully passed the master craftsman's certificate.
Son Jannik Sahler has been supporting the family business since 2011 after successfully completing his training.
